INS Viraat, the oldest serving aircraft carrier of the world, arrived at Kochi on 28 Jul 16 on its last sailing prior to decommissioning later this year. The ship is scheduled to undergo the mandatory dry-docking at Cochin shipyard limitedprior to decommissioning.
The ship would be towed back to Mumbai on completion of the dry docking in end October.
