CISF, NSG, NDRF Get New DGs

New Delhi. Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer OP Singh has been appointed as Director General, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). 1983 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre officer Mr Singh is presently working as DG, NDRF (ADG level).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the said appointment of OP Singh in the HAG+ pay scale (pre-revised) from the date of joining the post and up to the date of his superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, a Government press statement in this regard said September 26.

The ACC has also given a approval for Sudhir Pratap Singh, IPS (RJ:83), who is presently working as ADG, CRPF to the to the post of Director General, National Security Guard (NSG) and RK Pachnanda, IPS (WB:83), who was working as ADG, CISF till recently, as DG, NDRF. Both the appointments are in HAG+ pay scale (pre revised) from the date of joining the post and up to the date of this superannuation i.e. up to 31.01.2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
