Sierra Leone officials to undergo specialised training in India under ITEC programme
Freetown, May 29. India’s High Commissioner to Sierra Leone BC Pradhan interacted with officials from Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commission and Police who are set to travel to India for specialised training programmes under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) initiative.
According to a post made by the Indian High Commission on its X handle, officials Hassan Hashirr Momoh Ngevao, Joshua Smith and Osman Kamara will participate in the course titled ‘Advanced Methods of Crime Investigation – I’ at the National Forensic Science University from June 8 to 19.
Separately, Lillian Mariama Koroma and Theresa Mansaray will attend a programme on ‘Comprehensive Disaster Risk Management’ at the National Institute of Disaster Management from June 1 to 12.
The High Commission said the training initiatives reflect the expanding partnership between India and Sierra Leone in the areas of capacity building, professional training and institutional cooperation.
