HAL Inducts New Batch of Management & Design Trainees

Bengaluru, November 22. HAL has inducted the 46th batch of Management and Design Trainees (MTs and DTs) at a programme here today. The batch would go through a well-established 52-week comprehensive and elaborate training programme through HAL Management Academy in various disciplines such as aeronautics, production, electrical, electronics, computer science, finance, human resources, legal, etc. Out of over 30,000 aspirants, 139 trainees have been inducted. Seven handbooks on technical and managerial subjects were released by Mr. C.B. Ananthakrishnan, CMD (Additional Charge) during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ananthakrishnan called upon the trainees to work with sincerity and passion. “HAL is among the top 40 companies in India as per market capitalisation and ranked 29th globally. Expectations are high to sustain the growth and continue to perform well. Today, with the focus towards ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, the future is bright for HAL as we have many new products being developed and hope to grow in double digits in the future. As you are the future, you should see how you will meet the expectations of the stakeholders and keep the HAL flag flying higher,” he said.

Mr. A.B. Pradhan, Director HR, urged the trainees to work with great zeal and enthusiasm. “Joining HAL is not just about pursuing a career but you will be connected to a mission. A mission of not just achieving the goals of the Company but of the country as well. Whatever you do, make it qualitative. Enjoy your work. You will certainly be a proud citizen”, he added.

Mr. Jayadeva E.P., Director Operations, Mr. Mihir Kanti Mishra, CEO (Bangalore Complex), Mr. S. Anbuvelan, CEO (Helicopter Complex) and Mr. G. Srikantha Sharma, Executive Director, HMA called upon the trainees to take the lead in designing new aircraft for the future and achieve excellence.

Indigenously manufactured items from different HAL complexes like 3D-printed parts, engine parts, machined parts and instruments were also displayed at the venue.
