Andaman and Nicobar Command Celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas 2022
New Delhi. Kargil Vijay Diwas, 2022 is being celebrated all over the country. To mark this historic occasion, Andman and Nicobar Command (ANC) celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas in the honour of Kargil War Heroes for their courage, valour and sacrifice at Birchganj Military Station, Port Blair on 26 July.
A wreath Laying Ceremony was organized in the presence of a joint Services Guard at Bayonet Square, Birchganj, Port Blair. Lieutenant General Ajay Singh, Commander-in-Chief Andaman and Nicobar Command (CINCAN) in a solemn ceremony laid a wreath paying homage to the martyrs of the Kargil War. A large number of veterans took part in the event.
During his interaction with officers and men of Quad Services Command, CINCAN put emphasis on ‘Jointmanship’ as a key component for future wars. He reiterated the significance of op-preparedness at all times to live up to the integrative realty of “Together we are Stronger”.
