Nagpur, December 17. In commemoration of the historic military victory over Pakistan in the 1971 War, HQ UM & G Sub Area organised ‘VIJAY RUN’ on December 17, 2022 in Nagpur City. Based on the theme “Run for Soldiers – With the Soldiers”, this mega event was aimed at strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the masses, especially the youth.
The event which was flagged off from the Kasturchand Park by Maj Gen Dinesh Hooda, VSM, General Officer Commanding UM & G Sub Area witnessed widespread participation not only from serving personnel, veterans and their families but also from school & college students, NCC Cadets and people from all walks of life. While paying homage to our Bravehearts, the participants showcased josh and enthusiasm during the run.
