Vice Adm Deepak Kumar Goswami, AVSM Assumes Charge as DGNP Mumbai
New Delhi. Vice Admiral Deepak Kumar Goswami, AVSM assumed the duties of Director General Naval Projects (Mumbai) on February 1, 2025. An alumnus of Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji, Vice Adm Deepak Kumar was commissioned into the Indian Navy in Nov 1988.
In a career spanning over 36 years, he has served the Indian Navy in various capacities with distinction. On being elevated to the Flag rank, the officer was appointed Admiral Superintendent (ASD) at Naval Ship Repair Yard (Karwar), followed by ASD at Naval Dockyard (Mumbai). Prior to taking over as DGNP (Mumbai), he tenanted the appointment of ACOM (D&R) at NHQ.
