Chief of Naval Staff hosts deck reception in Tanzania

DAR-ES-SALAAM. Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff, hosted a deck reception onboard INS Chennai at Dar-es-Salaam on April 13.

Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, General Jacob John Mkunda, Chief Defence Forces (CDF), Tanzania People Defence Forces (TPDF), Rear Admiral AR Hassan, Chief of Tanzania Navy, Bishwadip Dey, High Commissioner of India to Tanzania, participants of Africa India Key Maritime Engagement (AIKEYME)  and  members of the Indian diaspora attended the event.

The reception saw overwhelming participation promoting cultural exchange, furthering India-Africa friendship and showcasing growing camaraderie and cohesion, guided by the common vision of a free, open, peaceful and inclusive Indian Ocean Region.
