Pahalgam terror attack
On April 22, 26 people were shot dead in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Pahalgam – one of the worst attacks in the Valley since 2019. Terrorists came into the Baisaran Valley grassland, dubbed ‘Mini Switzerland’, and started firing at tourists gathered around eateries, taking pony rides or just picnicking, officials and eyewitnesses said. The Resistance Front (TRF), a shadow group of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
