New Delhi, November 12. The Indian Navy has established a new recruitment centre at INS Kadamba in Karwar, marking a significant expansion of its recruitment network. With this addition, INS Kadamba has become the Navy’s tenth recruitment establishment across India.
The maiden Stage-2 recruitment for the Agniveer January 2026 batch is being conducted from November 10 to 15, 2025, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Defence. Representatives from the Personnel Branch at Naval Headquarters in New Delhi and the Western Naval Command in Mumbai were present to mark the occasion.
The Navy has put in place extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the recruitment drive, including detailed planning, logistics, medical support, and close coordination with the local administration for an incident-free process.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the new centre represents a key milestone for the Indian Navy, as it enhances recruitment capacity along the Western Seaboard. The establishment is expected to strengthen the Navy’s engagement with local communities and offer new opportunities for youth from Karnataka, southern Maharashtra, and Goa to join the force and serve the nation with pride.
