Air Chief Marshal calls for timely LCA deliveries
Bengaluru, January 5 (UNI). Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh today underlined the critical importance of timely deliveries of indigenous fighter aircraft to ensure that the Indian Air Force (IAF) remains operationally ready in the face of evolving security challenges.
Speaking at the inauguration of the two-day national seminar Aeronautics 2047, organised by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) at the Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS), he congratulated ADA on completing 25 years of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas flights and stressed that meeting production and delivery schedules is vital to maintaining the IAF’s combat preparedness.
Air Chief Marshal Singh highlighted that in today’s dynamic security environment, operational readiness hinges not only on advanced technology but also on the ability to deploy it effectively without delays.
“Timely induction of indigenous platforms like LCA Tejas is central to sustaining air superiority and safeguarding national interests,” he said.
