The Seventh International Electronic Warfare Conference-India (EWCI 2026)
Bengaluru. The three-day Conference on Electronic Warfare began in Bengaluru on January 20, 2026. It is being organized by the India Chapter of the Association of Old Crows (AOC), Bangalore at the National Science Seminar Complex, IISc, till January 22, 2026, under the theme, “Electronic Warfare: Be Wisely Connected And Win”.
The EWCI 2026 is the latest event in the internationally acclaimed Series in India. The Conference has the active support of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, the Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bangalore and Indian Defence Industry. The EWCI 2026 is being spearheaded by the Conference Chair, Dr. B K Das, Distinguished Scientist, DG (ECS), DRDO and President of AOC, India Chapter.
The Conference is envisaged to be of great use for modern Armed Forces, Military Planners, Developers, Procurers, Testers, Trainers and Vendors of the latest Electronic Warfare (EW) Technologies and Systems. Past Conferences in the series attracted large delegations from Indian Armed Services, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Defence PSUs, Defence Industry and National and International EW Professionals.
The EWCI 2026 has participation of Organisations dealing with Electronic Warfare and Authors from across the world with leading countries like USA, Israel, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, United Kingdom apart from India. Forty-eight EW Organisations are participating in the EWCI 2026 event. About 130 high quality Technical Papers from EW Researchers from R&D organisations, industry and Academia are being presented in the Conference. The delegation includes Scientists, EW Experts, Indian Armed Services personnel, Academia, Technical and Operational users, Manufacturers and decision makers in the field of EW. This conglomeration of EW Professionals are of great importance for both Technical and Commercial corroborations for all stake holders in the Defence Industry.
A high technology Indoor Exhibition will accompany the Conference, displaying the cutting-edge EW products from International EW Organizations. The Conference is visualized to be an important platform for EW Professionals who would share the Research and Development output in the field of EW at the global level and especially at the time of Industry 5.0, where Network Centric Warfare (NCW) Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are in vogue. A panel discussion with the critical topic of relevance of EW for Future is also planned as a part of this conference, which will unold the roadmap of activities for future EW technologies.
