Derazona H160 featured at Singapore Airshow

Singapore, February 5, 2026. Airbus is showcasing the H160 helicopter, operated by Indonesia’s Derazona Helicopters, on the static display at the Singapore Airshow. This appearance marks the aircraft’s entry into the Southeast Asian energy market and follows a commercial surge for the H160 programme, which secured 30 new orders in 2025, a testament to its growing success across civil, parapublic, and military sectors worldwide.

The presence of the H160 at the airshow underscores its expanding footprint in the region. Derazona Helicopters recently took delivery of its first H160 to support offshore energy missions in Indonesia, a pivotal milestone for the type in the Southeast Asian energy sector. The aircraft on display highlights the H160’s ideal configuration for demanding offshore environments, where it offers superior comfort and efficiency.

“Debuting the H160 at the Singapore Airshow represents a tangible momentum we are seeing across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Thomas Zeman, Vice President / Head of Sales and Marketing, Asia-Pacific, Airbus Helicopters. “The H160 is a perfect fit for this market, where operators are seeking a step-change in safety, environmental footprint, and cost efficiency. From energy missions in Indonesia, to emergency services in Japan, and corporate transportation in South Korea and Australia, the H160 is proving to be the versatile workhorse the region needs.”

The display follows a strong 2025 in the Asia-Pacific region:

  • South Korea: Business aviation operator K-Aviation took delivery of the country’s first corporate ACH160, setting a new standard for private aviation services.
  • Japan: The H160 has become the premier choice for public services, with Hiroshima City Fire Services Bureau becoming the first firefighting operator of the type. Nagoya City Fire Bureau followed with a new order for fire and rescue operations. Additionally, the National Police Agency has integrated two H160 helicopters into its law enforcement fleet.
  • Australia: Following a successful four-week national demonstration tour, privately-owned logistics and supply chain enterprise Linfox placed the first local order for an H160 to support its passenger transportation missions.

Beyond the region, the H160 continues to prove its global versatility. In March 2025, PHI became the first offshore commercial missions in the Gulf of Mexico following a successful route-proving programme, while the French Armament General Directorate (DGA) received the first H160 for the Gendarmerie Nationale in December 2025. Development of the military version has also advanced significantly alongside these civil successes. Airbus has commenced the flight test campaign for the H160M Guépard, which is developed for the French Armed Forces to replace five legacy helicopter types. The first prototype is currently undergoing tests to validate flight performance, with firing campaigns planned for later in 2026. This progress paves the way for deliveries to the French Armed Forces scheduled to start in late 2028, confirming the platform’s versatility across a vast array of missions.
