Headquarters Training Command, Indian Air Force observes Wreath-Laying Ceremony on Kargil Vijay Diwas
Bengaluru, July 26, 2026. Headquarters Training Command (IAF), Bengaluru observed ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on 26 July 2026 by conducting a ‘Wreath-Laying’ ceremony at HQ TC War Memorial. The ceremony was held in honour of the brave warriors of the Indian Defence Forces who made their supreme sacrifice defending the nation. Their valour shall always remain etched in the memory as a symbol of national pride and a source of inspiration for the generations to come.
Air Marshal S Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command along with the senior functionaries of Training Command paid their tributes to the Brave Hearts. Personnel from the Indian Army and Indian Navy were also present on the occasion.
The ceremony featured a Guard of Honour (Salami Shastra) followed by ‘Shok Shastra’ with the buglers playing the tune of ‘Last Post’. The ceremony concluded after observing a two-minute silence.
