Dreamfly Innovations named Among Nasscom Emerge 50 winners for climate tech and sustainability
Bengaluru, Aug 10. Drone battery technology company Dreamfly Innovations has been recognised as one of the winners of the Nasscom Emerge 50 awards in the Climate Tech and Sustainability category, highlighting its work on advanced battery solutions for cleaner, safer and more efficient drone and aviation operations.
The Nasscom Emerge 50 awards recognise startups that use technology, research and engineering to develop solutions to real-world challenges. The recognition also underscores the growing role of deep-tech startups in strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem.
Dreamfly Innovations has been developing next-generation battery technologies for drones and advanced aviation applications at a time when unmanned aerial systems are being increasingly deployed across sectors such as agriculture, defence, logistics, infrastructure inspection and emergency response.
The expanding use of drones has created a growing demand for batteries that can deliver high performance while meeting stringent requirements related to safety, reliability and efficiency. The company said the Nasscom recognition would encourage it to step up investments in research and engineering to develop battery technologies for the next generation of drones and advanced aviation systems in India.
