Gandhinagar. The Abhyuday Group is a significant engineering and turn-key project management group having prowess in the Cluster development field. The group is active since 2015 and engaged actively in the Indigenization and Innovation in the Defence Sector. It has 200 projects worth 4000 crores as well as has executed cluster-based projects worth INR 3,600 Crore across 20 Indian States and in Global Markets. The group was represented by its Chief Executive Officer- Mr. Sandeep Dave. Mr. Dave explained the hierarchy as Original Equipment Manufacturers having control over technology, outsourcing majority of the services, occupying the top position. Followed by Defence Cluster (DEM) at Tier I, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises positioned at Tier II and finally Vendor Development at the bottom- Tier III. During their brief pitch, he expressed that out of 2.5 trillion business of this sector, they would like to capture a market share of about 3 percent.
Furthermore, he pressed upon the eminent need of Defence Infra, elucidating the bottlenecks along with probable solutions. Starting with design & lack of appropriate technology constraints which could be resolved by Design Resources labs and space standards. Additionally, stating that fast prototyping and project approval in one boundary would aid in tendering process. And, high capital costs can be cut by common labs and building on lease models for SMEs. Finally expressing that the scale of economy can benefit from access to the Global Market.
In recent developments, during the AERO 2021, the Abhyuday Group drew MOUs with the Government of Gujarat to create ORAFV cluster for Development and Overhauling of AFVs in Gujarat as well as with Hindu Aeronautics Ltd. For strengthening of Defence Sector Supply chain.
