The show brought together Indian and foreign companies towards propelling an Aerospace and Defence ecosystem in India.
With more than 300 companies taking part, the show was about Make in India and Make for the World technologies, components and systems. Collaboration was the theme at the three-day event Sep 10-12, and it was a good platform for the participants to come together.
Secretary Defence Finance Vishvajit Sahay, who plays a key role in funding allocations for Acquisitions and Modernisation, inaugurated the show.
State-run companies and institutions including BEL, HAL, DRDO and ISRO highlighted their capabilities. So did a number of Start-ups the Indian Government is encouraging to be part of an Aerospace revolution.
