Air Commodore Santosh KP Hegde Assumes Command of Air Force Station Jalahalli

Bengaluru. Air Commodore Santosh KP Hegde took over the command of Air Force Station Jalahalli from Air Commodore Sarabjit Singh on March 28 in an impressive parade held at the station.

Air Commodore Santosh KP Hegde, an alumnus of Air Force Technical College, was commissioned into the Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) branch on November 27,  1995. The Air Officer is a post graduate in Microelectronic System from Indian Institute of Science.

In his illustrative service of 28 years in the IAF, the Air Officer has held various field and staff appointments that include senior technical officer in various helicopter units, Directing Staff at College of Defence Warfare and Commanding Officer of Air Force Liaison Establishment (AFLE), Korwa. The Air Officer has undergone Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC) at College of Defence Management, Secunderabad. For his distinguished service, he has been commended by the Chief of Air Staff.
