Felicitation by Chief of the Air Staff to Outstanding Sportspersons of Indian Air Force
New Delhi. A ceremony was held at Air Force Station New Delhi on March 15 to felicitate meritorious sportspersons of IAF who have excelled at National and International arena. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. 26 sportspersons who had won medals at National/International forums, three teams of Indian Air Force who were winners at Inter Services/National Championships and support staff were felicitated during the ceremony.
During the ceremony, the CAS also unveiled the Indian Air Force Sports Brochure, highlighting the achievements of IAF sportsmen.
In his address, the CAS lauded the performance of IAF sportsmen for their stellar achievements. He congratulated the sportspersons and advised them to continue to work hard & bring laurels to the IAF in the sports arena.
