Army Courses SSC-61, SSC (Tech) – 04, and WSES-07 visited their Alma Mater OTA Chennai for Silver Jubilee Reunion

Chennai, March 23. Army Courses SSC-61, SSC (Tech) – 04, and WSES-07 of the Officers Training Academy (OTA), St Thomas Mount, Chennai celebrated Silver Jubilee Reunion of the distinguished Army Courses at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

The programme started with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at Temple of Remembrance in Academy. Thereafter, the course reunion enjoyed the OTA movie & POP teaser.

The Course presented a Silver trophy comprising 25 pillars to its alma mater, the OTA Chennai signifying the mark of silver Jubilee.

The trophy was unveiled by Mrs Veena Jasrotia mother of braveheart Maj Ajay Jasrotia SM and presented to officiating Comdt Maj Gen Ajay Sud.

Speaking at the occasion on behalf of the course Lt Col Musheer said, “Visiting OTA with coursemates was an exhilarating experience”.

Ex Woman officer Maj Benor Desai addressing the gathering said , “OTA was never about Infrastructure, it was all about Josh and Jazbaa of Cadets and devotion as well as the dedication of the DS.”

Maj Gen Ajay Sud extended compliments and exchanged memento with Core Working Committee for the reunion to include Lt Col Musheer Hyderi, Lt Col Sameer Ghanekar, Col Arun Yadav, Col Prasoon Nath and Lt Col Sanjeev Verma.

Subsequently the course visited the premises of Academy for OTA darshan followed by working lunch at Yodha Officers’ Mess. Friends and families of officers joined in experiencing the environs and aura of the Academy that turns young boys and girls as men and women of Steel.

This Silver Jubilee reunion was an opportunity where the alumni of SSC-61, SSC (Tech) – 04, and WSES(O)-07 reconnected as well as strengthened friendships, and renewed their commitment to the values of honour, duty, and sacrifice.
