ASC Centre (North) Launches Massive Tree Planting Campaign with Corporate Volunteers
Bengaluru, October 31, 2025. ASC Centre (North) conducted a large-scale tree plantation drive bringing together 700 corporate volunteers and eco-conscious organizations to plant 7,500 saplings under the
Go-Green initiative. Brigadier Vikram Shekhawat, SM, formally inaugurated the campaign on 28 Oct, underscoring the importance of sustainable growth for the future.
Participants from Biocon Foundation, Volvo Foundation, Bosch, BCIC and Orange Seva Samsthe (NGO) joined hands in this endeavor to plant saplings covering maximum ground. Key representatives from the Corporate Industry included Dr. Anupama Shetty, Dr. Vikram Shankar, Mr. GV Rao, Mr. K Ravi, Shama Prasad, Mr. Prakash Rao, Mr. Mallesh, Dr. SN Venugopal Reddy, Dr. Ramdas Mallya, and Venkata Ramana Reddy.
The campaign demonstrates a shared commitment of the Army and Corporate Industry to increase green cover and combating climate change, fostering community awareness on environmental conservation.
