Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Visits HAL, Bengaluru, feels proud sitting in the Tejas

MP intends to have aerospace and defence development wing

Bengaluru, August 8. During his visit to HAL, CM said that HAL has units in many places of the country. He wished that HAL shall establish development wing of either aerospace or defence in Madhya Pradesh. Through the medium of single window, state government will provide all facilities including land and basic facilities

Sharing his experience on social media platform ‘X’ after the visit to HAL on Wednesday, August 7, he said it was nice to come to Bengaluru.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, HAL, on reaching Bengaluru. He appreciated the engineering marvel Tejas, a light combat aircraft built using indigenous technology and was overjoyed sitting in Tejas. The Chief Minister learned about the construction and working methods of aircrafts and helicopters manufactured by HAL.

I enjoyed seeing Tejas aircraft here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also visited here. This is a proud moment when India has made a mark in the world through indigenous aircraft.

Congratulations to all the members of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. I am inviting this institute to open a branch in Madhya Pradesh as well,” he said.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that HAL has units in many places in the country. Madhya Pradesh government intends to establish one of the aerospace and defence development wings in the state by HAL.

Madhya Pradesh government will get all the basic facilities including land and all the proceedings for its establishment completed through a single window. A nodal officer will also be appointed for setting up the unit, to ease the entire process.\

“Our Madhya Pradesh has immense potential. Our Madhya Pradesh is the most suitable state for large scale investment by the industry,” he posted.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the equipping and final assembly of HAL. He learned about the manufacturing sequence of LCA aircraft. He also gained insight into the stages of structural, assembly, coupling, equipping, and testing. To experience the excitement and pride of knowing the aircraft, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav himself boarded the Tejas aircraft and sought information about its safety and orbit.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav sat in the Dhruv helicopter and learned about the features of the helicopter from the pilot. He congratulated the HAL officers and employees for making aircraft and defence equipment with indigenous technology.

Dr. Yadav said that the aircraft and security equipment manufactured by HAL with indigenous technology increased the strength of the Indian Navy. This is a matter of pride for every Indian. He also made an entry in the visitor’s book. HAL Chairman and Managing Director Shri C.B. Krishna presented a replica of Tejas fighter aircraft as a mark of respect to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.

HAL is a special public sector undertaking of the Government of India. In this enterprise, products useful in aeronautical and defence sectors are manufactured. It makes an important contribution to the development of indigenous military and aircraft.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav during the “Round Table Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh” held in Bengaluru, engaged with industrialists to emphasize the state’s commitment to advancing across all sectors through industrial support and entrepreneurial encouragement.

He highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has gained global recognition, with industries playing a pivotal role in this progress. Dr. Yadav stressed that the collaboration of industries is essential for Madhya Pradesh and India to achieve Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a self-reliance and developed nation.

The session featured in-depth discussions on the opportunities, prospects, and policies for industries in Madhya Pradesh, where industrialists shared their insights and experiences. Additionally, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav had networking dinner for the industrialists to foster further connections.
