Aviation Minister holds bilateral meetings with key countries on sidelines of Wings India 2026
HYDERABAD. On the sidelines of the ongoing Wings India 2026, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu held bilateral meetings with ministerial delegations from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Russia and the Dominican Republic, underscoring India’s growing engagement with global aviation partners.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation said the participation of delegations from 20 countries at India’s flagship civil aviation event reflects strong international confidence in the country’s aviation leadership and its expanding role in the global aviation landscape.
During the interactions, the Minister highlighted India’s rapid transition from being one of the world’s largest aviation markets to an integrated and influential aviation ecosystem that is increasingly attracting global partnerships and long-term collaboration.
The bilateral discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in key areas such as aircraft manufacturing, skill development and training, and sustainability, which were identified as priority verticals for deepening international collaboration in the aviation sector.
