Pratt & Whitney Surpasses 1,000 GTF Engine Orders To Date in 2022

FARNBOROUGH. Pratt & Whitney announced on July 20 that the company has surpassed 1,000 orders and commitments for GTF engines since the beginning of 2022. These include engines for Airbus A320neo, Airbus A220 and Embraer E-Jets E2 family aircraft. Airlines and lessors who have announced orders in 2022 include Aviation Capital GroupAir Lease CorporationAir Canada, Azorra (A220 and E2), Delta Air LinesJetBlue AirwaysPorter Airlines and Qantas Airways. In total, over 10,000 GTF engine orders and commitments have been placed by more than 90 customers worldwide.
