Modi arrives in France for G7 Summit
Evian (France), June 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Evian, France, on June 16 to participate in the G7 Summit, where he is expected to hold discussions with world leaders on major global challenges and issues of mutual interest.
Announcing his arrival in the French resort town, Modi said he looked forward to engaging with leaders attending the summit and exchanging views on key international issues.
“Reached Evian, France for the G7 Summit. Looking forward to engaging with world leaders and exchanging views on key global issues,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X.
He reiterated India’s commitment to working with the international community to address global challenges and promote sustainable development.
“India remains committed to advancing collective efforts for a more sustainable and prosperous planet,” Modi said.
The summit is expected to provide a platform for discussions on a range of issues, including economic growth, climate action, energy security and emerging geopolitical challenges. India, though not a member of the G7 grouping, has been regularly invited to participate in the annual summit as an outreach partner.
