Chief Logistics Officers’ Conference at HQ MC

Nagpur, February 27. The annual Chief Logistics Officers’ conference was held at Headquarters Maintenance Command, Nagpur from February 22 to 24. Over fifty Supply Chain Management Professionals of IAF from across the country participated. The conference theme “CABTIKS (Capability Building through Technology, Infrastructure, Knowledge & Skill) – The first mile” was inaugurated by Air Marshal Vibhas Pande, Air Officer Commanding in Chief, Maintenance Command. During the inaugural address, he emphasized on the importance of synergy amongst all the stakeholders to provide effective SCM solutions and focus on self-reliance & Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Multiple subjects of Supply Chain were deliberated during the course of the conference and domain experts from Air Head Quarter and other echelons, delivered ‘in-depth’ talks and provided insights on the latest trends in SCM. In a first of its kind, Integrated Financial Advisors from across Maintenance Command Units also participated in the conference leading to fruitful interaction and debate towards better financial management.

Air Vice Marshal Sandeep Rawat, Air Officer Logistics Management, Maintenance Command, Nagpur while chairing the conference, exhorted the logisticians for capability enhancement and up scaling the existing Logistics infrastructure and domain expertise to excel in the challenging geopolitical environment. He also underlined the importance of Atmanirbhar in Aviation Logistics.
