Lt. Gen. JS Nain, Army Commander, Southern Command, visits Goa Military Station
Panaji. Lieutenant General JS Nain, Army Commander, Southern Command visited Military Station Goa from August 12 to 14. During his three day stay, he visited Headquarters 2 Signals Training Centre and reviewed the ongoing projects, training and welfare issues. He was briefed by the Commandant 2 Signals Training Centre on the plan of recruiting process and training of the first batch of Agniveers scheduled in November 2022. The GOC-in-C appreciated the efforts of the Training Centre and gave valuable advice on the same.
The Army Commander also visited Bambolim Military Camp and reviewed the progress of construction of a new building of Military Hospital. General Nain complimented all ranks of the Military Station Goa for their professionalism and appreciated the Civil Military Liaison exhibited in recently conducted events under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
