Curtain Raiser: THINQ 2025 – The Indian Navy Quiz 2025

New Delhi, July 22. The Indian Navy’s National level Quiz Competition, THINQ 2025 is back after its resounding success in the previous editions. The quiz competition in its fourth year is designed to offer young minds, the future leaders, an exciting opportunity to explore the Indian Navy. Aimed at nurturing intellectual growth and fostering awareness about India’s illustrious maritime legacy, the flagship event will be more than a test of Knowledge.

This year, the theme of THINQ 2025 is MAHASAGAR’, showcasing India’s maritime journey from the ancient docks of Lothal, and its growing presence in Indo-Pacific while underlining the importance of oceans and spirit of exploration and innovation. The theme also resonates with the Ministry of Defence, Government of India’s vision of 2025 as the ‘Year of Reforms’.

The contest is open to all school students of Class 9 to 12 across the country. The quiz will follow a hybrid format and unfold in four stages ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of participants. The first three stages will be elimination rounds which will be online followed by Zonal selection through an online proctored mode. The quiz is designed to test both speed and depth of Knowledge in a fair and engaging manner.

The top 16 teams will qualify from the Zonals and progress to the Semifinals. Winners of Semifinals will battle it out at the Grand Finale, for the coveted THINQ-25 trophy. The Semifinals and Grand Finale will be conducted in offline mode at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.
