Elbit Systems Awarded a $65 Million Contract to Supplya ModernizationSolution to a Latin-American Army

Haifa, Israel. Elbit Systems Ltd. announced on October 26 that it was awarded acontract valued at approximately $65 million to supply a modernization solution to a Latin American Army. The contract will be executedover a period of two and a half years.

Under the contract, Elbit Systems will supply the firstfully networked mechanized brigade solution to a LatinAmerican Army, as part of itsplanned army-wide modernization program. The digitally networked mechanized brigade solution will comprise of Shaldot’s 4X4 and Paramount’s 6X6 armored vehicles equipped withan E-LynXTMSoftware Defined Radiomobile network solution, abattle management suite of applicationsas well as MAGNI mini-Vertical Take-Off and Landing Unmanned Aerial Systems.
