GAL-AMMROC to showcase world class aerospace and defence solutions at IDEX 2023

Abu Dhabi, February 19. United Arab Emirates: Global Aerospace Logistics and the Advance Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center (GAL-AMMROC) will be displaying industry-leading aerospace and defence solutions at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) 2023. The event will take place from 20 to 24 February in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

At IDEX 2023, GAL-AMMROC will demonstrate its capabilities as one of the leading providers of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) to the local, regional and international customers. The company provides comprehensive aviation services that meet dynamic aerospace and defence needs across the world, working with innovative engineering minds, and a global supply chain supported through partnerships with leading OEMs to localize MRO activities.

GAL-AMMROC is currently undertaking a major program to strengthen capabilities for C130, UH60 and F16 aircraft in the Al Ain MRO facility to serve UAE and international customers. The company is also actively digitalizing operations to provide enhanced services to UAE and global customers.

GAL-AMMROC will be displaying nose-to-tail aircraft servicing for C-130 at IDEX 2023, as well as its capabilities for primary and secondary flight control repairs and replacements, engineering and aircraft services. The company will be showcasing its expertise in Blackhawk engineering and technical advice, UH-60 aircraft modifications and full components repair and overhaul solutions. For the replacements and implementing modifications to complete piece part disassembly, repair, replacement, overhaul, testing, and troubleshooting.

GAL-AMMROC will also be presenting its state-of-the-art Dynamic Blade Test Stand, which is unique across the South Asia, Middle East and North Africa regions. The supplied rotor assembly head can be configured to accommodate all variants of Sikorsky helicopters. Main rotor blades from other aircraft platforms can be accommodated using a matching rotor head assembly on the top of the whirl stand.

IDEX is the only international defense exhibition and conference in the MENA region demonstrating the latest technology across land, sea and air sectors of defense. It is a unique platform to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, businesses and armed forces throughout the region.
