Initiative supports affordable aviation access under UDAN framework
Mumbai. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on February 20, 2026 e-inaugurated the Udaan Yatri Café at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA).
Located in Terminal 2 in the departures check-in area, the outlet offers tea, coffee, bottled water, snacks and desserts priced between ₹10 and ₹20.
The initiative supports the government’s push for affordable air travel and aligns with the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) programme aimed at widening participation in civil aviation.
CSMIA is operated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited through its subsidiary Mumbai International Airport Limited. AAHL also manages airports in Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram and Navi Mumbai.
