New Delhi, Sept 13. Indian Navy warship INS Kulish arrived at Ream Naval Base in Cambodia on September 12 as part of the Eastern Fleet’s operational deployment, with the visit aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation and enhancing professional ties between the Indian Navy and the Royal Cambodian Navy.
The ship was received on arrival by representatives of the Royal Cambodian Navy and officials from the Embassy of India in Cambodia.
During its port call, INS Kulish will participate in a range of activities, including professional interactions, familiarisation visits, sporting events and structured naval engagements. The programme is intended to facilitate the exchange of operational knowledge and experiences between personnel of the two navies while strengthening interoperability and professional relationships.
The visit is part of India’s broader efforts to expand its maritime engagement across the Indo-Pacific and deepen ties with regional countries.
The port call also reflects India’s Act East Policy and its MAHASAGAR (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions) vision, while reinforcing New Delhi’s commitment to promoting a free, open and inclusive maritime environment in the region.
