Jeh Aerospace Inaugurates Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill (JCAS) to Advance India’s Aerospace Workforce

Hyderabad. On April 11, Jeh Aerospace announced the inauguration of the Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill (JCAS), a state-of-the-art training facility established to build and strengthen India’s aerospace manufacturing talent. The center was inaugurated by Pratyush Kumar, Board Member at Jeh Aerospace, in the presence of distinguished industry leaders including Joe D’Martino, CEO of Solestra Group, and John Lynde, Vice President at GS Precision.

India’s engineering workforce is vast and capable, yet many lack the specialized training essential for high-precision aerospace roles. JCAS has been created to close this critical skills gap, equipping machinists, assemblers, inspectors, and engineers with the technical and operational expertise necessary to meet the demands of global aerospace manufacturing.

The JCAS facility offers a three-tiered, immersive training program:

  • Classroom Training: Focuses on theoretical knowledge and core concepts of aerospace manufacturing.
  • Practical Training: Provides hands-on exposure using training machines and dummy components to develop technical proficiency.
  • On-the-Job Training: Delivers real-time, supervised experience on cutting-edge production equipment and actual aerospace parts.

Each training pathway is customized to the specific role and development stage of the employee, ensuring focused and effective skill-building. The initiative reflects the deep operational insight of Jeh Aerospace’s founders, Vishal R. Sanghavi, Founder and CEO, and Venkatesh Mudragalla, Co-founder and COO—both of whom have led joint ventures for major US aerospace OEMs in collaboration with the Tata Group in India.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanghavi and Mr. Mudragalla stated,“The Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill represents our long-term commitment to developing a world-class, globally competitive workforce. By investing in specialized training and nurturing a culture of excellence, we aim not only to transform individuals but also to shape the future of aerospace manufacturing in India.”

What distinctly positions JCAS as a transformative force in aerospace training is its direct integration with Jeh Aerospace’s production operations. This unique closed-loop model enables real-time feedback from the shop floor to flow directly into the training curriculum. As challenges or deviations arise in production, insights are immediately relayed back to JCAS, enabling rapid refinement of training content and methods. This ensures that the learning environment remains tightly aligned with industry needs and performance standards.

In an industry where startups often focus solely on rapid scale, Jeh Aerospace’s investment in an in-house skill development center is a bold statement of intent—emphasizing quality, sustainability, and a long-term vision. With JCAS, the company further solidifies its position as a forward-looking leader in India’s fast-growing aerospace sector.
