Bengaluru. Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, GOC-in-C, Southern Command visited 19 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Madikeri on November 5, 2025. During the visit, the General Officer was given a comprehensive briefing on the role, tasks, and an overview of commendable achievements of the battalion since its inception in 1954.
Army Commander appreciated the battalion’s consistent contribution towards maintaining its ethos and effectively fulfilling its mandated mission — to train, develop, and prepare youth for leadership roles across all walks of life, while promoting community and national service.
He also interacted with distinguished NCC Cadets, commended their dedication, and motivated them to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavours.
