UAE inspiring story of National Unity: Tahnoon bin Zayed
ABU DHABI, December 2. H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, extended his heartfelt congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, as well as to Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, and the people of the UAE on the occasion of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad.
In a statement marking the national occasion, H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon said, “Under the visionary leadership and guidance of its wise leaders, the UAE continues its remarkable journey of achieving global accomplishments. Our nation has become a beacon of progress, cultural development, and a hub for innovation and human empowerment, built upon the solid foundations and principles of the Union established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow Founding Fathers, may their souls rest in peace.
“Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the UAE Union, a momentous and cherished national occasion that narrates an inspiring story of national unity. It embodies a legacy of achievements, ambitions, and the efforts of the Founding Fathers who united the people of the UAE under the proud banner of the Union—a banner of dignity and pride. They launched a journey of development, progress, and human-building that forms the core and spirit of this blessed Union, ensuring that the UAE flag remains high in the skies of glory and accomplishments.”
He added, “The 2nd of December marks a pivotal milestone in the UAE’s Union journey, as hearts and efforts united in love for the nation, declaring the establishment of the young UAE state. With the wisdom and foresight of its wise leadership and the dedication of its loyal citizens, the UAE has become an exemplary model of stability, progress, and prosperity, presenting to the world a unique paradigm of modernity and innovation rooted in its enduring values and principles of peace, tolerance, coexistence, and human fraternity.”
The milestones realised on the UAE’s soil, continued Sheikh Tahnoon, are “the result of the visionary leadership and the unwavering dedication of the people of the Union, driven by a boundless love for the homeland. On this great occasion, we renew our pledge of loyalty and allegiance to the nation and its wise leadership, committing to continue working toward further progress and prosperity. We pledge to remain part of the UAE’s success story that inspires the world. May Allah Almighty preserve our beloved nation, its loyal people, and bless it with security, safety, prosperity, and stability under the guidance of our wise leadership.”
