Passing Out Parade of Nursing Graduates at College of Nursing, Command Hospital Air Force Bangalore
Bengaluru, March 11. An impressive Passing Out Parade (PoP) held at Medical Training Centre parade ground on March 10, 2025, marked the successful completion of training of the 5th batch of 39 nursing Cadets from College of Nursing, Command Hospital Air Force Bangalore (CHAFB).
Colonel Jessy Mathew, Principal, College of Nursing, CHAFB welcomed the august gathering. The parade was reviewed by Air Vice Marshal Kaushik Chatterjee, Commandant, CHAFB. The Air Officer congratulated the newly commissioned officers and urged them to uphold the ethos of Military Nursing Service. Brigadier R Vijayarani, Principal Matron, CHAFB administered the oath wherein the young officers donning their beige uniform for the first time, pledged to serve the diverse clientele of Tri-services across the country. Major General Elizabeth John (Retd), former Additional Director General Military Nursing Service, was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Lieutenant Prabitha B, Lieutenant Debora Grace Georgin and Lieutenant Epiphany Mary J were awarded trophies for being meritorious in academics and other facets of training.
