The aerospace industry is at a crossroads. On one hand, new programs appear to be some time away but willprogress quickly when started, and on the other hand, operatorsare striving to reduce through life costs by improving performance, life, reliability and costs on current aircrafts.

To support both these activities, the team atPorvairisdevelopinginnovative solutions based on future customer/operator requirements and visions.

Porvair Filtration Grouphas a history of working collaboratively with its customersand through operational feedback, developing filtration and separation assemblies formany aerospace advanced systems. These include:

• Avionics and supplementary coolant systems
• Fuel tank inerting
• Environmentalcontrol
• High temperature
• Fuel control
• Hydraulic systems
• Rocket engine propulsion

Porvair’sAerospace team is actively looking at future system operating requirements, such as operational life extension, reduced through life costs, dry mass and environmental conditions enabling us to develop concepts to a high level of maturity.Once developed to this level, these materials, conceptsanddesigns can be integrated into new aircraft or improvements on legacy fleets.

To support this task,Porvair has a dedicated team of engineers, scientists and test technicians with test facilities to simulate aircraft operating conditions. In addition, our Operations team has capacity to bring the product from design to production readiness at scale.

Andy Cowan, Aerospace Business Manager,comments:

“Porvair is an innovative and technology focused company which thrives on developing new technologies to meet existing and future customer requirements. We are actively seeking new partner customers and suppliers to help develop the future of aerospace.”
