INDIAN COAST GUARD MARCHING CONTINGENT MARCHED DOWN ON KARTAVYA PATH
New Delhi, 27 Jan 2026: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) marching contingent, led by Assistant Commandant Nishi Sharma, and the band, led by Uttam Adhikari Pappanoor G Babu, proudly marched down Kartavya Path on 26 Jan 2026 as part of the Republic Day Parade–2026, presenting a striking spectacle of martial discipline, maritime ethos, and national pride. Dressed in immaculate ceremonial uniforms, the contingent moved in perfect synchrony, with measured strides, upright bearing, and crisp drill reflecting the highest standards of training and professionalism upheld by the ICG.
Marching with flawless precision and unshakeable pride, the Bharatiya Tatrakshak Contingent, revered as the “Sentinels of Our Seas,” advanced like a powerful and disciplined wave of resolve. Each step taken on Kartavya Path symbolised their steadfast watch over India’s vast maritime domain and their readiness to respond to any challenge at sea.
