BonV Aero enters US defence market, strengthening India-US defence cooperation

Bhubaneswar, March 23. Indian aerospace startup BonV Aero has officially entered the US market through the I2A Launchpad, a defence acceleration platform managed by FedTech and Indus Bridge Ventures. This move marks a significant milestone for the company as it integrates with the US defence and commercial sectors, aiming to expand its presence beyond India.

By joining the I2A Launchpad, BonV Aero aligns itself with key US–India initiatives such as the Autonomous Systems Industry Alliance (ASIA) and the COMPACT initiative, both of which focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in defence and critical infrastructure. The expansion is part of India’s broader push to support defence startups, with government-backed initiatives like Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) and Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) 2020 fostering global partnerships and technological advancements.

Satyabrata Satpathy, CEO of BonV Aero, emphasized the broader implications of this expansion.
