Pasquale Di Bartolomeo has been appointed Managing Director of MBDA Italia, replacing Antonio Perfetti who recently left the company. Pasquale will keep his existing responsibilities as Executive Group Director for Strategy, a position he assumed on joining the company in September 2011. Prior to joining MBDA and as of 1995, he had held several positions of responsibility within the Leonardo Finmeccanica group.
Dave Armstrong, currently Executive Group Director Technical, has been appointed Executive Group Director for Sales and Business Development. Dave, who joined BAE Dynamics a forerunner of MBDA in 1984, keeps his existing responsibilities as Managing Director of MBDA UK, a role he has carried out since April 2015 having been previously Group Director for the Meteor programme.
Gianni Bongianni, Group Director Weapon System Programmes since March 2013 after having been Director of Aster Missile Systems Programmes, will replace Dave Armstrong as Executive Group Director Technical. Gianni whole career since it commenced in 1981, has been spent with MBDA and, before its creation, with companies that would eventually go on to form the group as it now stands.
