ROSOBORONEXPORT to unveil latest Russian weapons and civilian equipment at SITDEF PERU 2025

Moscow, April 21. JSC ROSOBORONEXPORT (part of Rostec State Corporation) is the organizer of the joint Russian exhibit at the SITDEF PERU 2025 International Defence Technology Exhibition, which will be held from 24 to 27 April 2025 in the General Headquarters of the Peruvian Army, Lima, Peru.

The JSC “National Aviation Service Company” (NASC), Russia’s state intermediary for the comprehensive service of Russian military aircraft supplied abroad, also participates in the joint Russian exhibit.

“Peru is a long-standing and reliable ROSOBORONEXPORT’s partner in the Latin American region. Russian-made fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, armored vehicles, ATGM systems and air defence equipment have been successfully operated in the country. During SITDEF PERU 2025, we expect to strengthen ties between our countries, discuss current and future joint projects, showcase modern Russian weapons, as well as disaster response equipment and machinery,” said Alexander Mikheev, General Director of ROSOBORONEXPORT.

At its stand in the INCA pavilion, ROSOBORONEXPORT presents modern Russian weapons for the Land Forces, Air Force, Navy as well as air defence assets. In addition, the Company showcases civilian medical equipment and infrastructure, engineer equipment and other solutions for rescue and emergency services.

MiG-35

ROSOBORONEXPORT will offer Air Force delegations to get acquainted with the MiG-35 and Su-35 fighter jets and the IL-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, including in the “flying hospital” version.

Su-35

For Land Forces delegations, the Company will present the latest version of the T-90MS Proryv MBT, 120mm 2S40 Flox self-propelled howitzer/mortar, 9K515 Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher (MRL), and the Kornet-EM ATGM system with a new missile called Bulat, as well as a wide range of Russian small arms and close combat weapons.

Orlan-30

ROSOBORONEXPORT will tell its partners in detail about its proposals regarding unmanned systems. In particular, it will present the Orlan-10E, Orlan-30, Orion-E reconnaissance and reconnaissance/strike systems and the Kub family of loitering munitions. These systems, which have shown their high performance under real combat conditions, are of great interest to representatives of various services of the armed forces and other security and law enforcement agencies.

They can be used in both wartime – for target reconnaissance, designation and engagement and in peacetime – for combatting illegal drug production and smuggling, illegal migration, monitoring wildfires and assessing the impact of natural disasters.

ROSOBORONEXPORT will hold a presentation of the Pantsir-S1M self-propelled anti-aircraft gun/missile (SPAAGM) system to representatives of the Air Defence Forces. The system has proved itself as an effective point/army air defence weapon providing protection against current cruise and ballistic missiles, MRL rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles of various classes.

Most of the Latin American countries are characterized by long coastlines. In this regard, ROSOBORONEXPORT is preparing for increased attention to Russian naval products at SITDEF PERU 2025. In particular, the Company expects interest in the Project 22160 patrol ship to be presented, Project 22800E Karakurt-E-class guided missile corvette, which can be equipped with the modern Pantsir-ME anti-aircraft gun/missile system, as well as the BK-16E and BK-10 high-speed special-purpose boats.

Peru and a number of other countries in the region have been actively operating Russian Mi-17 military transport helicopters. At the exhibition, ROSOBORONEXPORT is presenting the Mi-171Sh helicopter as a general-purpose platform for transport, assault, search-and-rescue, medevac and law enforcement missions.

“One of the main topics for discussion is the certification and commissioning of the maintenance and repair center for “Mi” series helicopters in Peru. This infrastructure facility, built under the ROSOBORONEXPORT contract, will open in the short term and will be able to ensure airworthiness maintenance of Russian-made helicopters from all Latin American countries operating our equipment,” Alexander Mikheev noted.

Elimination of the consequences of natural, technological and natural disasters is one of the main clusters of SITDEF PERU 2025, where ROSOBORONEXPORT will present the most relevant Russian products for the region.

The Company presents the capabilities of civil and military engineer equipment, sanitary equipment, mine clearance equipment, auxiliary equipment, including special vehicles and equipment for prevention of natural disasters and calamities, including general-purpose off-road trucks.

The Russian-made field mobile hospitals offered by ROSOBORONEXPORT at the exhibition have been rigorously tested both in real combat operations and as part of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies’ rescue operations, as well as peacekeeping missions conducted by civil defence services of other countries. Russian products have proved effective and earned high praise from medical personnel and patients.

The Company has a busy schedule at the exhibition: meetings and negotiations on further cooperation in the field of arms and military equipment supplies, development of offset programs and opportunities for establishing industrial partnerships with defence manufacturers of the region’s countries.

“At SITDEF PERU 2025 ROSOBORONEXPORT will continue consultations with partners from Latin America on technology cooperation projects that were initiated during the LAAD 2025 exhibition, which ended recently in Brazil. We will discuss joint and licensed production of Russian small arms, land forces equipment, air defence assets, UAVs and counter-UAV electronic warfare equipment in the countries of the region,” Alexander Mikheev added.
