Training Command Annual Aerospace Safety Council Meeting held at HQ Training Command, IAF

Bengaluru. Training Command Annual Aerospace Safety Council Meeting 2024 (TC AASCM 2024), themed ‘Prevention of  Human Error in Aircraft Accidents/Incidents’ was held at HQ Training Command, Indian Air Force on March 18. The meeting was chaired by Air Marshal R Radhish, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Training Command.

Various aspects related to human errors associated with aerospace safety were slated for extensive discussions and deliberations during the meeting to achieve safe and hazard free flying.

The AOC-in-C, in his address, highlighted the key issues requiring impetus in the aerospace safety domain for accident free flying and emphasized the adherence of the SOPs in vogue. He exhorted all operators and maintenance personnel to exercise due precautions, keeping in view the forthcoming monsoon season, with special attention to the serviceability of recovery aids.

The day-long meeting was hybrid in nature wherein senior functionaries from Command Headquarters, Station Aerospace Safety & Inspection Officers from Air Force Establishments under the Training Command attended the event in person. Several key functionaries at Air HQ and senior aerospace safety functionaries from other IAF Commands attended the event virtually.
