Wings India 2026 ‘Women in Aviation’ roundtable highlights leadership, inclusion and opportunity
HYDERABAD. The ‘Women in Aviation’ roundtable at Wings India 2026, India’s premier civil aviation show being held here from January 28 to 31, spotlighted stories of courage, ambition and leadership from across the aviation sector, held under the theme “Ain’t No Sky High Enough!”.
The session, held on the opening day, brought together women professionals from different segments of the aviation ecosystem, who shared personal journeys and practical insights on overcoming barriers and turning aspirations into reality. Discussions focused on how women are increasingly shaping the industry through leadership, innovation and resilience.
Panellists stressed the importance of mentorship, inclusive workplaces and collective action in building clear pathways for greater representation of women in aviation, particularly in leadership roles. They underlined that fostering diversity is not only a matter of equity but also a critical driver of a stronger and more sustainable future for the aviation industry.
