Honeywell Appoints Steven Lien as President Honeywell Aerospace Asia Pacific

New Delhi. Honeywell has selected Steven Lien as President of Honeywell Aerospace, Asia Pacific. Lien succeeds Briand Greer, who will be staying in the Asia Pacific region and assuming a new leadership position within Honeywell.

As President of Honeywell Aerospace in Asia Pacific, Lien will oversee operations in six countries and extensive field operations across a network of 14 countries within the region. Lien will be based in Shanghai and report to Tim Mahoney, President and CEO of Honeywell Aerospace. Lien’s previous role was vice president, China/Asia Pacific Growth.

Before moving to Asia Pacific, Lien was Vice President, Defense and Space International, responsible for managing the global Aerospace Defense business, which serves more than 400 customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Asia Pacific and Australasia, including all international original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket defense businesses. He played a critical role in driving international growth while continuing to improve profitability for Defense and Space and expanding Honeywell Aerospace’s high growth region strategy.

Previously, Lien served as Vice President, Navigation Subsystems, Sensors and Space products, where he drove significant business growth from 2010 to 2013 while leading the extended Navigation Subsystems, Sensors and Space product family team. Lien joined Honeywell in 2003 and has served in numerous roles of increasing responsibility in business and marketing throughout his tenure with the company.

Before joining Honeywell, Lien held positions at Pratt & Whitney, McKinsey and Company, and Kaiser Associates, serving clients in a range of industries with a focus on aerospace, defense and transportation. Lien holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
