“Indian Army Organises CADET Workshop for 85 NCC Cadets”
Bengaluru, September 2, 2025. The Indian Army’s Gorkha Amphibians hosted a two-day CADET Workshop in collaboration with the NCC Exchange Participants Association (EXPA) at Banaswadi Military Garrison from 30–31 August 2025. The initiative benefitted 85 NCC cadets currently undergoing a 10-day Army Attachment Camp at the garrison.
The workshop combined interactive sessions and activity-based learning to sharpen communication, creativity, critical thinking, leadership and employability skills. Designed to nurture confidence and problem-solving ability, the programme equipped cadets with tools to face future challenges with resilience and vision.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Yash Agrawal, Garrison Commander, said: “This initiative reflects the Army’s enduring commitment to shaping India’s youth—blending the discipline of soldiering with the spirit of innovation, and instilling values and skills essential for national service.”
