New Delhi. Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Meeran C Borwankar has been appointed Director General (DG) of the Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has given its approval to the appointment of Ms Meeran C Borwankar, a Maharashtra cadre IPS officer of 1981 batch as Director General in the BPR&D till the date of her superannuation i.e. 30.9.2017, from the date of assumption of the charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier
