Texel Air to showcase the world’s most flexible B737 at the Bahrain International Air Show 2022

Bahrain, November 8. Texel Air, a Bahraini Cargo Airline, will once again be displaying their B737-700FlexCombi™ aircraft at the Bahrain International Air Show at Sakhir Airbase from November 9-11, 2022.

Texel Air is the world’s only commercial operator of the B737-700FlexCombi™, which can be configured to carry cargo and passengers simultaneously.

George Chisholm, CEO of Chisholm Enterprises, the parent company of Texel air, says it’s efficiency and flexibility at its finest.

“Once again, we are thrilled to be able to invite those in the industry onboard this unique new generation aircraft to showcase its special features at the 2022 Bahrain International Air Show.”

“Years of research, discussions with partners and consideration internally have come to fruition with our two B737-700FlexCombi™. Now we are seeing first-hand the reality of this aircraft’s capabilities being able to meet and deliver our customer’s various needs providing them possibilities they have never seen before.”

“It has been especially crucial for our business to have such flexibility during the pandemic. We have been able to switch our configurations of the B737-700FlexCombi™ to the changing needs of the global environment.”

The B737-700FlexCombi™ can be morphed into seven different configurations to suit many operational requirements. In addition, the aircraft has an extensive list of modifications and upgrades to support military, government and utility flying.

Chisholm explains the B737-700FlexCombi™ is not the only exciting showcase they will have on display at the air show.

“We are proud to announce we have partnered with Collins Aerospace, a leader in technology and solutions for global aerospace, and have installed their Head-up Guidance System and Enhanced Flight Vision System on the B737-700FlexCombi™.”

“The installation of these systems offers enhanced low-visibility operations, schedule reliability, improved energy management, reduced carbon emissions and increased safety –all crucial things that improve the inflight experience for our pilots and our operations as a business.”

Collins Aerospace will provide Texel Air with a HGS and EFVS VR trainer on their tradeshow stand allowing all attendees to experience their own simulations of the technology.

Texel Air invites all attendees at the Bahrain International Air Show to visit their tradeshow stand (E60) and be taken on a journey to learn about the most flexible of airline cargo solutions.
